本日 Intel のドライバーダウンロードページをチェックしてみると、32bit Windows XP 用ビデオドライバー EMGD_CDV_1.15_PV.exe がリリースされていた。
ver 1.15のリリースノートを見てみると、前のバージョンのものが
- No hardware acceleration for 3D or 2D graphics.
となっていたのと比べて、3Dハードウェアアクセラレーションが純粋な DX9 で使えると書いてある。ただしアクセラレータハードウェアデコードは動かないようだ。（以下 Intel のリリースノートを引用）
- Hardware acceleration for 3D graphics is limited to pure DX9.DX7 "fixed function" features are not supported and use will result in image distortion or error messages. - Hardware accelerated video decode is not supported. Software decode is supported per the Technical Product Spec.
時間を見つけて、Win7を消して、もう一度32bit Win XP Homeで試してみようかと言う気がしてきた。
ただし、ドライバーインストール方法に変化はないので、またインストーラーを作らないといけないようだ。
